About Us

Every nucleus is accompanied by spin, a quantum number representing the angular momentum of the rotation. The nuclear spin and its attached moments (quantities that determine how and to what extent the spin interact with external fields) are telling us something about the structure inside the nucleus and interactions acting there. We keep straining our ears to the whisper of nuclear spin, and are conducting unique researches on the nuclear structure and fundamental interactions through orienting/controlling/observing the nuclear spins and moments, by means of techniques with lasers, electromagnetic fields, magnetic resonances and nuclear reactions.
