Abstract: We present a novel approach for investigating the spin structure of hadrons based on the two-point function in quantum field theory. In a rotating frame, we describe the two-point function using two methods: one explains the system’s rotation in terms of the angular momenta of its constituent particles, while the other interprets it in terms of the total spin of the system. The equivalence between these methods provides valuable insight into the spin structure of the two-point function. Once the ground-state is extracted via the QCD sum rule method, comparing the two descriptions effectively reveals the spin structure of the corresponding hadron. In this talk, I will introduce two applications: the spin-1 heavy quarkonium states and the proton in the massless quark limit.
