DALI2 is a high efficiency and high energy-resolution gamma-ray detector array
designed for in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy experiments using fast RI-beams. DALI2 consists of 160 NaI(Tl) scintillators covering polar angle from 20-degrees to 160-degrees. Its high granulality enables the high-resolution Doppler correction
for the gamma-rays emitted from fast-moving nuclei.
DALI2 has been used for a variety of experiments at RIPS such as
Coulomb excitation, proton and alpha inelastic scattering, secondary fragmentation,
and nucleon transfer reactions.
