BPC (Beam Proportional Counter)

[1] Status

• BPC was built in FY2009 and tested using βrays, p/He/Li beams at 250 MeV/A @200 torr, and Kr beams at 400 MeV/A @20 torr.  It has a stable HV plateau with ~100% efficiency even for protons at 250MeV/A.   It can be operated above 1 MHz without serious problems.
