Abstract:
The Monte-Carlo shell model method utilizing condensed pair bases,
instead of the Slater determinants, is developed
in order to investigate nuclear collective motions.
Using this method, various properties of the collective excitation
can be obtained.
We focus on the two aspects of nuclear structure:
shape ``phase'' transition with increasing neutron number
and triaxial deformation.
Both axially symmetric and tri-axially deformed
structures are discussed consistently in the framework of the MCSM.
