PROCEEDINGS

The proceedings of the conference will be published by a regular journal "Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, Section B (NIMB)". All contributions including posters are eligible and will be peer-reviewed by referees in the scientific program committee and the international advisory committee.

The submission of the manuscripts for the EMIS2012 proceedings has opened. Please visit the website

http://ees.elsevier.com/nimb_proceedings/default.asp

for submission.

Here, we would like to emphasize that the deadline for the submission is Febrary 28, 2013.(Extended to 20th of March (final deadline).)

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into this special issue, please select
"Proceedings - EMIS2012"
when you reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process. Maybe you should also select "Wenxue Huang" as an editor.

For maintaining the proceedings in high quality, we would like to have a reviewing guideline which is compatible with that used in standard scientific journals, Typical guideline taken from 'How to review a manuscript #01' at http://www.elsevier.com/reviewers/home is: Purpose of review

According to this guideline, some papers particularly of the poster session would not be included in the proceedings when they might have no original developments or present only for plans, intent, or previously reported results.

In the editing process, five editors in chief will share the contributed papers by sorting the conference topics and take care to keep the quality of the proceedings. The editors are, W.X. Huang (IMP), T. Uesaka (RIKEN), G.Q. Xiao (IMP), H. Sakurai (RIKEN), and H. Miyatake (KEK). We will assign two referees for each poster presentation and one referee for each invited/oral presentation. Please do not hesitate to contact us in case of any questions / difficulties / comments.
